While some games have more powerful requirements than this GPU, the Radeon RX 5500 XT 4GB is only really challenged by the most demanding games released today, but normally it is more than capable of running games with a stable frame rate at 1080p.

All games with system requirements of DirectX 12 or lower are met by this card.

How well will the Radeon RX 5500 XT 4GB run 2021 games? We will take a look at the biggest releases and frames per second analysis on Ultra graphics settings. This graphics hardware can run 740 of the 1000 most demanding PC games played today.

With 1080p being the most common gaming resolution at the moment we explored how well the Radeon RX 5500 XT 4GB can run FIFA 22 at 1080p and saw it return strong frame rates at the following graphics settings - Low: 267 FPS, Medium: 210 FPS, High: 141 FPS and Ultra: 101 FPS. For performance contrast we can see that Far Cry 6 returns a playable 29 FPS at Ultra 1080p.
